General Notes

  • •All prices below are package fees only.
  • •International airfare is NOT included and must be arranged separately.
  • •Medical exam fees, procedure fees, surgery fees, medication costs are separate.
  • •Personal meals, shopping, and personal expenses are separate.
  • •Car service is provided for the planned itinerary; long-distance routes may incur additional charges.
  • •Hospital interpretation is provided based on the hospital's resident coordinator.
  • •Solo packages are based on single occupancy (one person per room).
  • •Twin packages assume two persons in one room with a shared schedule and shared vehicle.
  • •Breakfast is included; it may be skipped on fasting days (e.g. health screening).
  • •Dental packages focus on check-up and consultation.
  • •Ophthalmology focuses on check-up and consultation; additional procedures are separate.
  • •Health screening is recommended for the morning after arrival rather than arrival day.
  • •Evening Seoul tour and additional city tour run within the standard route.
  • •Some itinerary elements may be adjusted based on patient condition, hospital timing, or traffic.
  • •Hotel check-in/out follows the hotel's own rules; luggage storage can be arranged.
  • •Default supported languages are Korean and English; other languages are available on request.
  • •Twin packages fit friends, couples, spouses, family, or patient + caregiver combinations.
  • •Prestige (2-person) is best suited for 1 surgery patient + 1 caregiver.
  • •Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Deposit / Payment / Change / Cancellation / Refund Policy

1. Deposit

  • •All packages require a 20% deposit of the total package price.
  • •Hospital, accommodation, and transport scheduling begins after the deposit is confirmed.

2. Booking confirmation

  • •A reservation is only confirmed after the deposit is received.
  • •Final confirmation combines hospital availability, accommodation availability, and the patient's condition.
  • •Some medical items may be changed based on the attending specialist's judgement.

3. Balance payment

  • •The balance must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival in Korea.
  • •Last-minute reservations may require full prepayment.
  • •If the hospital or hotel requires a separate advance payment, we will inform you in advance.

4. Itinerary change policy

  • •One itinerary change request is allowed up to 14 days before departure, subject to hospital and accommodation availability.
  • •Requests received within 13 days of departure may incur real costs or a change fee.
  • •If hospital, accommodation, or transport are already confirmed, each provider's own rules apply.

5. Cancellation & refund

  • •15+ days before departure: deposit fully refundable (minus any transfer/payment fees or real costs already incurred).
  • •8–14 days before departure: 80% of the deposit refunded.
  • •4–7 days before departure: 50% of the deposit refunded.
  • •1–3 days before departure: deposit is non-refundable.
  • •Same-day cancellation or no-show: non-refundable.

6. Medical reservation notes

  • •Once a hospital consultation, exam, procedure, or surgery is confirmed, the hospital's own cancellation rules apply.
  • •Any surgery deposit, exam deposit, or hospital prepayment follows the hospital's refund rules.
  • •Hospital fees incurred separately from the MediKorea package follow hospital rules.

7. Accommodation & transport

  • •Hotel / residence cancellation or change after confirmation follows the provider's own policy and may incur real fees.
  • •Once a vehicle schedule is confirmed, real dispatch and reservation fees may apply to cancellations or changes.

8. No-show policy

  • •A customer who fails to appear for airport pickup, hospital schedule, hotel check-in, or confirmed appointments without prior notice may be treated as a no-show.
  • •No refund applies for no-shows; resuming the itinerary afterwards may incur additional fees.

9. Exceptions

  • •Force majeure situations (natural disasters, cancelled flights, entry restrictions, serious health issues) are reviewed individually with supporting documentation.
  • •Real costs already incurred by third-party hospitals, hotels, and transport providers may still be deducted.

10. Final notes

  • •Package itineraries may be adjusted based on patient condition, hospital timing, and traffic.
  • •Final medical decisions are made by the attending specialist.
  • •The availability of specific procedures or surgeries is confirmed only after consultation.
